Anantha Soukhya, a forum of Seva Bharathi dedicated to the welfare of elderly citizen, conducted a Free General Medical Consultation & Assessment Camp in association with PAGE, Spoorthi Charitable Trust, and Yenepoya Hospital Deralakatte on 20th July 2024 at Chetana Child Development Center, V.T. Road, Mangaluru.

Dr. Prabha Adhikari, HOD of Geriatrics, Yenepoya Medical College and Convenor, PAGE & Spoorthi, inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp in presence of Shri H. Nagaraj Bhat Hon. Secretary, Seva Bharathi, Dr. Vijayalakshmi, Specialist (ENT), Shri P. Vinod Shenoy Treasurer, Seva Bharathi and Shri Umesh Shenoy Convener, Anantha Soukhya.

Dr. Adhikari in her address put light on interrelation between Diabetes and other ailments, stressed the need to undergo relevant tests by the senior citizens from time to time to maintain good health

The doctors of different units with their team conducted several tests such as BP, Hb A1c, memory test, Mobility, Balancing, fall risk, Hearing test etc were administered to 80 participants in the camp and gave proper advice.

Seva Bharathi® Mangalore conducted ‘Vanamahotsava’ and Homeopathic Medical Camp on 18th July 2024 at Madhava Vana campus, Montepadau.

Capt. Ganesh Karnik , Ex. MLC, Shri Mohammed Nawaz, President, Naringana Gram Panchayath and Dr. Vijayendra Itagi, Vice Principal, Yenepoya Homeopathic Medical College and Hospital, Naringana inaugurated the planting of saplings at tree park followed by others gathered during the occasion.

Homeopathic Medical Camp was arranged in the Seva chetana building for the benefit of divyang and general public. The eminent signatories, who inaugurated the tree plantation, also inaugurated the camp by lighting the lamp. They also spoke on the occasion and appreciated the Seva Bharathi endeavors to uplift the divyang community in a favourable atmosphere like Madhava Vana. Shri H. Nagaraj Bhat Hon. Secretary and Shri P. Vinod Shenoy, Treasurer of Seva Bharathi were present in the function. The camp was utilized by 50 children/public with medicine, free of cost.

The Locals gathered in good numbers in both the functions. Chiguru Nursery, Kuloor, Mangaluru supported the cause by providing high quality saplings.

Seva Bharathi celebrated international Yoga Day on 21.06.2024 in its units, Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru, Roman & Catherine Lobo Residential School for Visually Impaired, Mangaluru and Adamya Chetana Day Care Centre for Divyang, Montepadavu by associating the children, teachers and trustees.

The Divyang children of Chetana Child Development Centre, Mangaluru celebrated vana mahotsava by planting saplings at the garden outside the centre on 4.6.2024. The school HM, teachers and volunteers co-operated in the program.

The Divyang children of Adamya Chetana Child Development Centre, Montepadavu celebrated vana mahotsava by planting saplings at the tree park of Madhava Vana on 6.6.2024 in presence of Mr. Akshay Singh, Engineer, Indian Oil Corporation, Divisional Office, Mangalore. Shri H Nagaraj Bhat, Hon. Secretary, Seva Bharathi®. The teachers of the centre co-operated in the program.

Chetana Child Development Centre (Chetana School), V T Road, Mangaluru re-opened on 1.6.24 in a ceremonial way. As a part of re-opening, a grand procession of Divyang children with their parents arranged. The Chief Guest of the day, Veteran computer scientist Shri P Ramesh Nayak welcomed the procession at the school gate by releasing the balloons and the ribbons in presence of School Headmistress Smt. Suprita and Shri H Nagaraj Bhat, Hon Secretary of Seva Bharathi. The teachers welcomed the children by putting tilak on the forehead and offering sweet. Smt. Shobha compered the program. Legal Guardianship certificates were distributed to the beneficiaries. Seva Bharathi Trustees, Teachers & Staff, Donors, well-wishers, volunteers were gathered in large number.

Adamya Chetana Day Care Centre, Montepadavu (previously at Ullal town) was re-opened on 3.6.24 in a grand way. As a mark of the re-opening, a procession of divyang children with parents was arranged from nearby Public-School ground. The teachers received the children at the Centre by offering sweets and putting tilak on forehead. A formal inauguration of the Centre was made by lighting the lamp, releasing the coconut flower and also planting the saplings by Shri T G Rajaram Bhat, Correspondent, Sharada Ganapati Vidyakendra, Kairangala associating with Shri Hassan Kunhi, Manager, Takwa School, Naringana and Shri H Nagaraj Bhat Hon. Secretary, Seva Bharathi. Shri Rajaram Bhat in his address lauded the efforts taken up by Seva Bharathi for uplifting divyang community and announced that a team of his school children would be periodically sent to the Centre premises for ‘cleaning works’ and once a month midday meal also be served to the children. Shri Hassan stated that he would extend any help sought by the school. In the beginning, Smt. Deepika welcomed the gathering. Shri Nagraj Bhat briefed the seva Bharathi activities. Shri Muralidhara Mallya, Shri Sundara and Smt. Shrimati, Convener, Helper and volunteer, respectively, of Ullal camp, were honoured during the occasion. Smt. Vanishree proposed vote of thanks and Smt. Usha compered the program.
