Functions

• A medical check up camp under the banner “Sunday Medical Check up Camp” was first conducted at Kodical, within Mangalore city limit on Sunday, 24.09.1992. The camp is being held till date without break.
• Dhanvanthri also organises Special Medical Camps in rural areas in all disciplines of medicine in association with major hospitals in Mangalore and distribute medicines and spectacles on specific prescription.
• Dhanvanthri also help the other voluntary organisations in conducting medical camps on their request.

Achievements

Sunday Medical Check Up Camp completed it’s 25 years of fruitful service on 24.09.2017. To commemorate the silver jubilee year, a special camp was held on 24.09.2017 which benefitted 327 citizens. 150 spectacles were distributed free of cost. Hearing aid was provided to a student who was badly in need of the same. On the occasion, a dozen specialist doctors and same number of volunteers were felicitated for their yeoman services in the field.
